Ana W Elly Bahebo.. with Ghada Adel | Mahmoud Hemida and his daughter

In 2019, Mahmoud Hemida and his daughter Aya were dear guests on the program Ana W Elly Bahebo, presented by actress Ghada Adel.
The only one allowed to object, be stubborn and cry her way to get what she wants, the only one you cannot be rude with even if she is so, the one you do not blame even if she blames you, the only one you lie to about life, that life is beautiful and nothing about the past or the future should be feared, the only one that makes you feel accompanied at your loneliest moments, even if she doesn’t feel you around, she stays ingrained in your heart… A wholehearted introduction by Ghada Adel said to introduce the episode of actor Mahmoud Hemida and his daughter Aya.
Hemida: I love to be called actor Mahmoud Hemida.
Hemida: Girls are the biggest blessing that God Almighty has given me so far.
Hemida: I often think that my work occupies me and distracts me from focusing on my daughters.
Hemida: My daughters are aware, and none of us complains, but the youngest Omneya used to say I don’t understand your purpose in life, then you go to sleep, get up, take a shower, get dressed and go out, where do you go? To work. So, I used to take her with me.
Hemida: Happiness comes from contentment.
Hemida: Books are half the culture.. I mean, Fouad Haddad said about culture: I regard culture on the basis that culture is gained from books and people.
Hemida: I would love to be a poetry writer if I was a writer.
Hemida: Fouad Haddad is my first teacher ever.
Aya: My relationship with books is not strong, but I try to enhance it bit by bit, and I started reading when I was older.
Aya: If I had to choose a book title that represents my father’s biography… I don’t know, maybe it’d be, Life.
Aya: I miss him when I don’t see him for two consecutive days.
Hemida: When I feel saddened by something, I have only two ways to deal with it; I either remain silent or express my anger, but feuding with her is not possible.
Hemida: After we argue and get upset, we make up and I find out that I wasn’t smart in the situation, so I would apologize and they forgive me and vice versa, we don’t stay upset for more than 10 minutes.
Hemida: I don’t lie to her, I tell her everything, whatever it is.
Hemida: The most controlling thing I ever said to her was: you don’t study hard enough.
Hemida: Aya knows everything about me… and she is not the only one, all my daughters do.
